One coat repaints
People and real estate agencies often ask painters for only 1 coat to save on their budget, especially when renting or selling properties. Although this is not the proper way to achieve the trade standards, most of the time there is an opportunity to keep the cost lower than usual. We have been able in the past to satisfy our customers with the one coat wonder when the situation allowed it.

Spray painting
Spray painting is an effective way to paint big surfaces, high ceilings or bigger number of doors and doorframes if the environment allows. It can achieve a nice and smooth finish and a better coverage than brush or roller applications.

Roof painting
Old and worn-out roofs do not look good and they might fail their basic purpose to protect the house. First we need the roof high pressure washed to make the surface clean and free of debris. After this we can apply the correct coatings to ensure that your roof is in great condition. We can use normal exterior acrylic paints or if you want a more durable surface there are special roof paints or elastic membranes to choose from. Two or three coats sprayed will revitalise any old roof.
Concrete floors and paving
Concrete floors in the garage or around the house can get spilled or stained which is very hard to clean. One solution is to paint the surface and make an easy to clean floor, which is more resistant to wear and tear.
This is a newly painted garage floor where we used 2 coats of water based epoxy paint which is a hard wearing product with excellent chemical resistance.
Timber clear coating
If you have bought good quality timber for your home or want to restore old wooden surfaces you can go for staining, varnishing, oiling or you can use clear polyurethane coatings. Either way you will keep the natural look of the timber alive and preserve the surface for a longer life.
This was an old Jarrah ceiling in Mosman Park stained from water leaks and looked really worn out. We had to sand the whole ceiling first especially the stained parts. Then we had to touch up carefully the discoloured and sanded spots with Jarrah stain to make an even look on the surface. The client was happy with just one coat of varnish as it made the entire room alive again.
Window restoration
Any old timber in the house can be restored and painters can be a big help to renew the old look of your home.
Old timber windows, Sash windows and French doors are a feature among the increasing numbers of new short life items. To get them to your satisfaction it needs the right amount of preparation work on flaking paint, holes, cracks, gaps and a thorough sanding on the whole surface.
After prep work comes undercoating and we need some gentle handwork at the finish. The result will be as nice as our preparation was and can make any client happy.
